HOW TO GET TO TAHITI and MOOREA and reach VILLA CORALLINA

Tahiti and her Islands are located approximately 17,100 kms from Metropolitan France at 17"32' S. and 149"34' W., situated half way between California (6,200 km) and Australia (5,700 km). Tahiti is 8,800 km from Tokyo and 7,500 km from Santiago, Chile.

There are -10 hours different from GMT. This is -12 hours on summer time or -11 hours wintertime from France, -2 hours different from the USA Pacific Coast, -19 hours from Japan and Sidney and -22 hours from New Zealand.

Two international airlines, AIR TAHITI NUI and AIR FRANCE, operate regular flights between Paris (France) and Tahiti via Los Angeles (USA).

HAWAIIAN AIRLINES operates once a week from Honolulu (Hawaii).

AIR NEW ZEALAND operates regular flights from Auckland (New Zealand), from London and from Frankfurt to Tahiti.

LAN AIRLINES operate twice a week from Santiago (Chile).

You have just arrived in Tahiti. You must go to Moorea right now and come to Villa Corallina.

All passengers arriving on international flights to Tahiti, must collect their baggage, go through Customs and then re check-in at the domestic  air terminal n.2 (300m further on) where is AIR  MOOREA which operates a shuttle air-service between Tahiti and Moorea every 30 minutes in only a 7-minute flight. You don't need a reservation, just buy the ticket (30$ US) and go.

If you prefer to come to Moorea by sea, there is the AREMITI 5, which is a 56 meters High Speed catamaran, sailing at more than 30 knots between Papeete and Moorea within less than 30 minutes. Air conditioned, snack bar with food and beverage and a DVD screen for film lovers. Outside, the sun deck allows you to see the beauty of our islands. A taxi-cab from the airport to the Aremiti's dock port takes 15 minutes (20$ US). You don't need any reservation, just buy the ticket (15$ US) and go. Daily departures time are at: 6:05am - 7:30am - 9:00am - 12:15pm - 14:40pm - 16:05pm - 17:30pm.

Upon arrival in Moorea, by air or by sea, an air-conditioned taxi-bus is waiting for you and will drive you to our meeting point which is facing our island. There we will meet and welcome you and, with our boat, we will get you away from it all on our piece of paradise!

Enjoy a magnificient view of the turquoise coloured lagoons of Tahiti and Moorea and make a good start flying by helicopter from Tahiti to Villa Corallina.
